Sightline will provide technical Cad drawings based on project specifications.
Cad drawings include unit type, functionality, interior and exterior terminations, functional hardware and smaller details that take into consideration items such as desired door clearance for finished floor and design features.
These details are then discussed with the building professional/homeowner and signed off to be fabricated.
Manufacture
Every door and window is unique to its specific project, we do not offer only stock doors or windows that restrict your design but give you endless customization to further complete your vision. Our precise manufacturing techniques make it possible for us to achieve the highest level of difficulty from Radius and Ellipse tops to Swooping True divided lite muntins.
While some steel companies leave the builder to figure out glazing, our products come to the job site finished with the exact glass and muntins designed for your project, already assembled. This also gives us the ability to warranty our entire assembly and not limit us to just our steel frames.
At Sightline we believe a project’s success is taking every detail into consideration before the product is approved for fabrication. Smooth installations and finishes are not a product of luck and should not be decided on site, a smooth install requires proper planning and coordination.
Our details take into consideration:
-Exterior finishes from siding to limestone
-Structural mounting and waterproofing from structural tabs to continuous mounting flanges with integrated drip caps.
-Interior finishes-from jamb extensions and wood trim to Plaster returns
-Functionality- from desired door swing and hardware operation to interior clearances for finished materials and design elements.
Details
Every job is unique, Sightline’s certified installers are trained to fasten and waterproof with state of the art materials and techniques. Due to the size and weight of our larger fenestrations, our installers are trained not only to install but to maneuver units into place using heavy equipment when needed.
